i haven't posted in a long time cause I'm not really the blog type. So, let's get to business :

Some MAME dock icons I don't even remember what's in there...
Metal Slug dock icons they're logos, basically.

Let me just remind you something (maybe i will take the time to do a FAQ, someday). To use my MAME dock icons, you need to create shortcuts to MAME giving the game's rom name as an argument.

For Windows users :
"c:\path\to\mame\mame.exe" mslugx

For SDLMame (Linux, Mac, BSD) :
sdlmame mslugx

will run Metal Slug X. Beware, some MAME ports have different names (for instance, MAME Plus !' s exe is mamep.exe). Some games you play are clones (in my case, i play a special version of street fighter III third strike, which is called sfiii3n rather than sfiii3).

If you want to know a Rom's name, it's the file name, in fact.

Also, sdlmame users, beware of your mame.ini file if you are using a frontend. Most likely, the frontend is going to use its own settings and not write in mame.ini (in /etc/sdlmame) as it would need to be root.
